Peanut is an important shelled oil plant with high oil content. The kernel rate of peanut is 65%~75%, while the kernel contains 40%~51% oil and 25% ~ 31% proteins (a higher proportion than any in any true nut). Peanuts are rich in nutrients, providing over 30 essential nutrients. Peanut is a good source of niacin, folate, fiber, magnesium, vitamin E, manganese and phosphorus, naturally free of trans-fats and sodium. Peanuts are known by many other local names such as earthnuts, ground nuts, monkey nuts, goober peas and pig nuts. Despite its name and appearance, the peanut is not a nut, but rather a legume.

How to Extract Peanut Oil?

Peanut oil, made from the legumes of the peanut plant, is a vegetable oil high in good monounsaturated fat and low in bad saturated fat.There are three stages to extract peanut oil: pre-pressing, pressing, and filtering. The processing equipment to extract peanut oil includes Peanut Sheller, Peanut Cleaning Sieve, and Peanut Screw Oil Press. Peanut screw oil press mainly consists of feeder, gearbox, pressing chamber, and oil receiver. Its working process is that peanut is pressed by high pressure for oil, and then through the vacuum filter, the filtered oil finally coming out is clean.
